The Buying Process

Pre-qualification

A pre-qualification letter is required when making an offer on a property. Speak with a local mortgage lender and complete their online loan application. Be prepared to provide them with paycheck stubs, bank statements, etc. This will provide you with a budget to begin shopping for homes.

Home Search

Being as specific as possible with your search will give you a greater probability of finding just the right house. Keep in mind that there will always be trade-offs and if a house meets 75% of your criteria, that is likely the house for you.

Offer

Make a reasonable offer with terms that will work for both parties. Review all disclosures but be prepared to complete your own due diligence.

Contract to Close

All signatures on documents, make escrow deposits, complete inspection, appraisal, survey and loan approval. There are a lot of steps but we walk you through the process.
